O DEAREST LORD JESUS,
PLEASE GRANT US THE GRACE TO LEARN HOW TO ALWAYS TRUST IN YOU. AMEN
“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:28-33
During my morning walk in the woods at the Abbey of the Genesee about this time of the year, I see a beautiful flower, trout lily. There are two that I know of. I am always tempted to dig them up and take them home. However, they belong to the Abbey. I can ask for permission, but I know they may not be happy or probably will die. I come to visit them instead.
Two days ago, a coworker and I talked about beautiful wild flowers in the woods. I shared with him how I would love to have a trout lily on my land. He told me he tried to dig them up before, but he always managed to cut off their roots which are very deep. They died as the result.
Today (4/30), after doing some weeding in the Marian garden, I was near the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue. Behold, as if the Lord showed me where it was, my eyes looked down in the thicken grass behind the statue (standing on a tree stump), and there, a beautiful trout lily was smiling at me. I can’t wait to share the story with my co-worker. THANK YOU, LORD! 😇 ❤
May 1, 2022: Happy your month, dear Blessed Mother!
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen 🙏
Look who winked at me as I walked by? This little creation of God opened herself wide with such pride of beauty when the warm sun overshadowed her. She gave her best to honor the Queen as I walked the flower bushes into the Marian garden for the Blessed Mother.
To you Blessed Mother and all mothers and sisters, God loves you all so much to give you such privileges to be His Mother and mothers of His children and His daughters. Let us give all to Him who deserves all the honor and glory. Amen.
